| FULL MOON
I was going out to see the night sky in Laugharne all the stars blinking black velvet backdrop and lofty and shining the moon at full strength
I was going to saunter along the cliffwalk wrap up warm scarf and mitts anorak with fleece-lining.
I was going to meet you guided by the brilliant light of a night sky just like we used to along the seashore to find you there waiting.
Had you been there I would have kissed your face lit by the moon if I recognised you after so long.
I could have but it was too cold.

Uscivo per vedere il cielo stellato a Laugharne tutte le stelle occhieggianti uno sfondo di velluto nero e alta e lucente la luna nel suo pieno vigore
Andavo in giro lungo la scogliera ben coperta da sciarpa e guanti cappello di pelliccia e giaccone con il bordo felpato
Andavo ad incontrarti guidata dalla luce brillante di un cielo notturno proprio come eravamo soliti fare lungo la spiaggia per scoprire che tu mi stavi aspettando.
Se tu fossi stato là Avrei baciato Il tuo viso illuminato dalla luna Se solo ti avessi riconosciuto Dopo così tanto tempo.
Avrei potuto Ma faceva troppo freddo.
